Services at La Fromental
We offer bed and breakfast or chambres d’hôtes on a daily basis and evening meals can be provided if requested for an extra charge. We have four rooms all with private bathrooms and double beds; one room is a family suite with a separate room with two single beds for children.

| Your
breakfast will be served in the dining room or on the garden and will be
bread and croissants fresh from our local baker in the village, jams &
honey, fruit juice, cereals, boiled eggs and a choice of coffee, tea or
hot chocolate. Occasionally Amelia will substitute the croissants for
freshly home baked muffins with seasonal fruits. The evening meals comprise a starter, main course, cheese course sourced from the local region and dessert. The menu comes complete with aperitif, nibbles, wine and coffee served as we say here “en famille,” round the big table. We serve predominantly French cuisine, however, we do serve some favourite English dishes. Evening meals should be booked in advance as they are all freshly home cooked by Amelia that day. |

| Should you wish to explore the local cuisine further a field we have a village restaurant open lunchtime very day and lunchtimes and evenings at the weekends just a short 10 mintue walk from La Fromental. We also have a bar/restaurant in the next village which is open lunchtimes and evenings every day in the summer months approximately 10 minutes by car. There are various other very good restaurants just a short drive from La Fromental. | |
Rooms are available from 3pm and departure time is 11am. Enjoy a relaxed welcome
with a drink when you arrive and let us introduce ourselves and La Fromental.
In addition we also offer our knowledge of the local area with numerous walks
and hikes to explore, and with the aid of nature cards identify the small and
not so small fauna and flora you may encounter. We can also provide maps and
advice for drives through the area which take in the local scenery and attractions.
For those who just want to relax in the peace and tranquillity of La Fromental
we have 7 acres to stroll around, or, relax and unwind in our garden.
Children of all ages! will love to explore the land, if they keep very quiet
the deer and wild birds will appear. In the Autumn the woods are full of funghi
and we give advice on the varieties found and where to search for them.
